Grantham University
ADSA Empowers Members through Online
Criminal Justice Program at Grantham University
Founded in 1951, Grantham University
is offering a special scholarship program that will save ADSA
members over 50% on tuition and fees as compared to other major
online universities. Associate, Bachelor, and Master’s degree
programs are available in: Business Administration, Criminal
Justice, Computer Science, Engineering, and more.
All programs are self-paced online programs that can
be completed whenever and wherever it is convenient for you - you
never have to attend classes on a strict campus schedule. Grantham
also gives you a head start towards your degree by transferring
credits for military training, CLEP and DSST exams, and prior
college course work – some students complete a bachelor’s degree in
less than 2 years.

Programs:
Community Assistance - Sheriffs' of member
departments submit requests on behalf of their community for
assistance. Based on location and need, requests are reviewed and
granted for local situations such as home fires, natural disasters,
plant layoffs, etc.
Academic Scholarship
Program - College bound dependents of ADSA members are
invited to apply for our scholarship program. The Advisory board
reviews all requests and scholarships are granted twice each year;
once for Fall semester or quarter and once for Spring semester or
quarter. Applications and guidelines are provided on
request.
Financial Services Access -
The ADSA offers a credit card to all qualified members through MBNA
and is currently supporting a program for auto insurance quotes.
Body Armor - This has been
identified as a major area of concern with the majority of our
members. County law enforcement departments are historically
under funded and therefore often lack funding to provide their
officers with this piece of equipment. The ADSA has made it a
mission to find excellent pricing alternatives and provide as much
assistance in financing as our budget allows.
Equipment - Each department has
different needs. The ADSA works with sheriff requests for everything
from radar equipment to camcorders. Requests are granted based on
need and circumstances.
Training
Information:
USLETA - The ADSA underwrites this
program, which is a mobile training unit that removes the expense of
traveling from a department's training budget. Funding is provided
for research, development and staff maintenance. The program is
currently CE certified in Texas and is soon to be certified across
the country.
